Supporting women to overcome pelvic floor challenges and reclaim life
Sustainable Pelvic Floor Therapy in Kansas City
The first poop after giving birth can feel scarier than the birth itself. One of our patients was in tears on her couch thinking, “I think I have to go.” She remembered what we practiced — the positioning, the breath, the tricks — and guess what - it was WAY easier than she expected. These are the moments we live for.
You likely didn’t know that…
Maybe you’re like this client
or maybe you’ve found yourself :
You’re three weeks postpartum, holding your newborn in one arm and a laundry basket in the other, when it hits you — that familiar uh-oh rush to go to the bathroom. Between feedings, diaper changes, and trying to remember to eat, you have started to feel like your body isn’t on your side anymore. Together, we talk, we laugh, and we build a plan that fits into your REAL life.
And we prepare for the day that you make it through the grocery store without scouting the nearest bathroom. That’s the win — feeling free enough to focus on the moments that matter.
Experiencing bladder & bowel leaks
“I can’t be with my partner without pain.” You’ve convinced yourself it’s just part of life after birth. Its not. Together we can slow down, tune into your body, and take it step by gentle step to get back to the intimacy you crave.
The goal? “It didn’t hurt this time.” Because intimacy should feel like connection, not something to brace yourself for.
Having difficulty resuming intimacy due to pain, lack of desire or just simply feeling exhausted
Your head is pounding. Your hips are aching. You’ve got baby on one side, stirring dinner with the other and your brain is racing with all the things you still have to do before bedtime. Chronic pelvic pain and tension headaches steal the joy from our days. Together, we work on more than just muscles — we teach your body how to exhale, your mind how to rest, and your nervous system how to trust again.
Struggling to balance being a new mom with feeling overwhelmed at fitting everything in
Meet Amber -
Your Pelvic Health Therapist
Serving Kansas City
I was in OT school when my sister had her first baby. During her delivery, she ended up with an emergency C-section after a long, exhausting induction. The updates were sparse, and by the time I visited her in the hospital, she was bleeding, struggling to move, and clearly in pain. I looked around and thought,
“Who is going to help her?”
That question changed everything for me. I realized how many women go home after major abdominal surgery with nothing but,
“Good luck! Here’s a baby.”
No one tells them how to move without pain, how to protect their healing body, or what recovery can actually look like.
In that moment, I decided that I never wanted another mom to feel abandoned after delivery. So, now, I help women navigate postpartum recovery with compassion, practical guidance, and the kind of support I wish my sister had.
From day one, I’m there to walk alongside them — so they can heal fully, feel strong again, and step into motherhood with confidence.
And I’d love to be alongside you with the same support and guidance I would give my own sister.

Wondering where the support is?
Because we know that postpartum isn’t just about diapers and feeding schedules.
For many women, it’s also about pelvic pain, discomfort during intimacy, leaking when you sneeze or run, or feeling like their body has betrayed them. We’ve sat with women navigating conditions like dyspareunia, vulvodynia, and chronic pelvic tension — not just treating their physical symptoms, but creating a space where they feel heard, safe, and supported.
And we want to do that for you.
